REGISTRATION FEES & RULES

Returning Players from the Spring 2016 season may remain on their same team by noting the team name in the appropriate space. Returning Players from the Spring 2016 season that wish to be placed on a different team in the Fall must select the box stating "Open Draw". 

Late registration is on a space available basis only and the cost is $115 for U4-U10 and $125 for U11-U19. Late registration ends July 31st and players are not guaranteed placement. There is a $5.00 discount for each additional player from the same family when you login under your Family Account. Fees include uniform and socks. All players must provide a copy of your child's official birth certificate in order to register. Refund request must be in writing mailed to HUSA P.O. Box 54204, Hurst, Texas 76054.

Game Dates

Spring Season games begin in February, Fall Season games begin in August.

Most games are played on Saturdays; however, due to scheduling and field availability some groups may have a few weekday evening and/or Sunday afternoon games. You will receive your game schedules, rules and field location maps from your team's coach prior to the first game of the season. Please see the timeline on the webpage for the season you are playing.

Equipment

This Fall ALL players will receive a new uniform consisting of a numbered shirt, shorts and socks. Each spring, the returning players will use their uniform they received in the fall, and any new players will receive a new uniform prior to the beginning of the season. Every player must wear shin guards during practices and games. Soccer cleats should be worn. Please use the following listing when determining the correct size soccer ball for your child.

Practice Times and Locations

Coaches are responsible for establishing team practice times and locations.

Practices for the U05/U06 age group are limited to one 1-hour session per week.

For the U07/U08 age group, two 1-hour sessions per week.

For the U09 and older age groups, two 2-hour sessions per week.
 

Coaches

We are in need of volunteer coaches and assistant coaches in all age groups. Past coaching experience is not a requirement. All of our coaches are required to have a "G" license. HUSA provides a "G" level license clinic. If you are at all interested in helping, please contact your age group commissioner.
 

Team Formation

Only players who have not played for two consecutive seasons may request a team.
